CELEBRATING 75 YEARS IN 2009!

In 2009 the Badger Fisherman's League will celebrate a milestone as the Oldest Conservation Club in the State of Wisconsin. We will be celebrating 75 years of serving area communities through various conservation projects and volunteer projects. We could not have been able to do this without the dedication of generations of members! As we celebrate this important event we are looking forward to another 75 years helping to conserve the outdoors in the State of Wisconsin! Thank you members both past and present for your dedication to the club!

Club Happenings...

This summer is an active one for the club, we have numerous outings occuring throughout the upcoming months and members are excited to participate in all of them. Fish Shocking will take place on Saturday, July 21st. Members are asked to meet at the KC Club house at 8:30 a.m. or Shane Maffin Park on Lilac Lane in Menomonee Falls. Remember to bring your waders! Lunch will be provided following the outing.

Our July fish outing for club members and guests will be held at Pike Lake, we are launching from Johnny's. The outing will run from 6 a.m. to Noon. Members who are close to making their Grand Slam this is your chance to seal the deal on your fishing contest! We hope to see many of you there and remember to bring your friends! A sign up sheet will be passed at the membership meeting, if you are not attending and would like to be added to the list contact either Scott Czechan or Gary Parrott.

The Daniel Boone Youth Outdoor Day will take place on August 16th. The BFL works in conjunction with Daniel Boone and SCI to bring an outstanding day of outdoor learning and activities to kids. In years past this event has proven to be a huge success. Members who are interested in volunteering should contact Brenda Rosin to sign up. The event will open to the public at 9 a.m. SHARP!
