2009 FISHING OUTING RESULTS....

Get out those rods and launch that boat...the 2009 Fishing Contest has begun! As our outings take place outing winners will be added to the site. The contest will end in October with the Milwaukee Harbor Outing. Good luck and let's see a lot of Grand Slams this year!

BFL Fishing Contest Rules and Lengths: 


The Club Fishing contest is open to all members of the club. Fish need to be caught in Wisconsin, during the open fishing seasons to count. Club members can also try to qualify for a 'Grand Slam' throughout the year. In order to do this, a club member must catch four different qualifying species, one of which must be caught at an outing. Below is a list of species that are recognized and the minimum lengths needed to enter:

Large Mouth Black Bass.....16 inches
Small Mouth Black Bass.....14 inches
Walleye....................19 inches
Northern Pike..............27 inches
Muskellunge................36 inches
Flathead/Channel Catfish...24 inches
Coho Salmon................26 inches
Chinook Salmon.............30 inches
Brown Trout................20 inches
Rainbow Trout..............24 inches
Lake Trout.................24 inches
Inland Lake Trout..........20 inches
Stream Trout...............10 inches
Panfish:
Rock Bass...................9 inches
Black/White Crappie........11 inches
White Bass.................13 inches
